Green Flash Le Freak
As I’ve mentioned before, Green Flash is relatively new to our market, so it’s been a joy trying their brews. So far, they haven’t done poorly at all.
The bottle says Le Freak is a “Zesty Brew”, it’s more of a Belgian IPA. It poured with a cloudy, but golden color. A quite thick head sat atop the beer. It had a fruity, Earthy aroma.
The front of the beer presented fruitiness and hoppiness, a tried-and-true flavor combination for an IPA. It also had a somewhat wheaty flavor, too.
This is a very quality IPA. Rhea and I split this 12oz bottle, but that was totally fine because at 9.2%, this is most certainly not a session beer.
